DiFILIPPO, Salvatore J. of Everett, entered into rest on Thursday, April 25, 2013 in the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was 75 years of age. Born in Malden, Sal lived in Everett for most of his life. Sal had a degree in business from Bunker Hill Community College and was retired from the Bank of America where he worked as a bank processor. Beloved husband of the late Joanne H. (Castagno). Dear and devoted father of Salvatore J. DiFilippo, Jr. of Saugus and Mario DiFilippo of Everett. Loving brother of William Hagan of Bethesda, MD. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sal’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, April 29 from 5-8 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home Tuesday morning at 10 to be followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. NUZZO, Patricia F. 73 a resident of Everett passed away at the Mass General Hospital on April 19. Patricia was born on August 14,1939 in Malden daughter of the late George and Isabelle (Holden) Cray and lived at Pine Banks where her father was the superintendent. She graduated from the Cheverus School Class of 1957. Patricia’s greatest joy and accomplishment in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. Patricia was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, arts and crafts and camping. Patricia was the beloved wife of Nicholas A. Nuzzo with whom she shared 52 years of marriage and the loving mother of Nicholas A. Jr. of Everett, Steven of Georgetown and Laura and her husband David of Newburyport. Grandmother of Deanna, Steven, Spencer, Erin and Madeline. Also survived by her step-mother Gertrude Cray. Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10am from the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church at 11am. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm. Interment Puritan Lawn Cemetery.

Born in Boston, Peter was a lifelong resident of Everett. He was a Junior Engineer retiring from AVCO Research Laboratory in Everett. Beloved husband of Frances (Harrington) for over 61 years. Dear and devoted father of Peter V. Simonelli, Jr. and Stephen Simonelli of Everett, Ann Hogan and her husband, James of Malden and Patricia Bryant and her late husband, Joseph of Revere. Brother of the late Louis Simonelli and his surviving wife, Dorothy Simonelli of Everett. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Davidson, April Faris, Stephen Simonelli, Jr., Heather Bryant, Elizabeth Bryant, Victoria Simonelli and Shane Simonelli and 3 loving great-grandchildren. Irene Hickey

HICKEY, Irene 80, a resident of Everett passed away at the home of her cousin Frank Dullea and his wife Shirley on April 17. Irene was born on April 6, 1933 in Cambridge, one of three children of the late John P. and Henrietta (Delay) Hickey. Irene attended the Everett Public Schools and graduated from Everett High School Class of 1951. She continued her education and graduated from State Teachers’ College Boston in 1955 followed by a Master’s Degree in Education in 1959. Irene taught school in Everett for over forty years and retired in 1996. She taught at the Hale, Adams, and Webster Schools. After retiring from the Everett Public Schools, Irene worked for Fr. McDonough at the Mission Church in Boston on the prayer line. Besides being active in her community of Everett, Irene was a devoted and active member of Immaculate Conception Parish. Irene was a deeply religious person who always put others first. She was a past Regent of Court Everett # 324 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, member of the Ladies Sodality and Massachusetts Citizens for Life. Irene was the sister of the late John and Helen Hickey. She is also survived by many cousins. Visiting hours will be at the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home, 519 Broadway Everett from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett on Monday at 10am. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

She was only 33 years of age and one month shy of her 34th birthday. Born in Malden, Dina lived in Everett for most of her life before settling with her husband, Jeff and daughter, Hannah Rose.
