RUGGIERO, Eda E. Of Peabody formerly of Everett on August 27. Mother of Marie Calvo of Beverly, Eda Spolarich and her husband Jim of Tampa, FL, John of AZ, Anthony of Jackson, MS, Joe-Ann Palermo and her husband Tommy of Stoneham, Joseph and his wife Marina of Peabody, the late Eddie and Allan. Sister of Anthony LaMonica of Burlington, Rose Ann Gill of Everett, John LaMonica of Burlington and Joseph LaMonica of Everett. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held in the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Sat., August 30 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow in the Immaculate Conception Church, Everett, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Eda's memory may be made to the Juana Acevedo Burgos Memorial Scholarship Fund, Stoneham High School, 149 Franklin St., Stoneham, MA 02180 or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

DONOVAN, Anna C. 92 of Wilmington formerly of Everett, died Thursday after a brief illness in the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley, Billerica. Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Sheerin) and Michael Higgins. Anna was a Supervisor at the former Bell Atlantic for many years. Beloved wife of the late Edward Donovan. Devoted mother of the late Annmarie Cerra. Loving grandmother of Justin Cerra of Medford and Cody Cerra of Dracut. Sister of the late Mary Shinners and John Higgins. A funeral mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church 487 Broadway, Everett on Monday August 25 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday from 8:30-9:30 AM. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Loving father of Annmarie DiGiovanni and her companion Peter Varone, Tina Magee and Judy McAdam and her companion Frederick Boudeau. He is survived by his seven beloved grandchildren Jarrod and his wife Jeannette, Jillian, Melanie, Michelle and her husband Bill, Jennifer, Vincent and Jessica and 10 beloved great-grandchildren: Jarrod Jr., Taylor, Lilly, Isabella, Taylor, Colagero, Michael, Victoria, Ashley and Emily. Peter was the brother of the late Tony Sciascia.
