O'BRIEN, Esther M. of Everett passed away on July 26th at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. She was the wife of the late John J. O’Brien and mother of William and his wife Linda of Melrose, and James and his wife Patricia of Arlington. Sister of Margaret Mullane of Beverly and loving aunt of Sheila Hawes, Margaret Sheehan, Lesly Fucci and great aunt of Megan Sheehan and Alexa Fucci. Grandmother of Brendan O’Brien and his wife Janelle of Revere, Jeffrey O’Brien and his wife Jamila of Dover, NH, Emily and Erin O’Brien and loving Great Grandmother / Nonni of Mina. She was employed as a teacher in the Everett Public Schools and later had a second career as Assistant Director of the Parlin Memorial Library in Everett. She had a lifetime love of books and reading, and celebrating holidays, particularly the 4th of July with her family. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Everett on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Final respects may be paid at the Murphy O'Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett prior to the Mass. COCOROCHIO, Thomas J.-Of Bradenton, FL and a former longtime Everett resident, passed away at the Prospect House in Revere on July 26, 2014, at 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (McMahon) Cocorochio. Loving father of Michael Cocorochio and his wife Kathleen of Everett, Mary Cocorochio of Millbury, Edward Cocorochio and his wife Sharon of Billerica, and Marilyn Caporizzo and her husband Alexander of Chelmsford. Dear brother in law of Paul McMahon of Billerica. Cherished grandfather of Lisa Anderson and her husband Ryan of VT. He is also survived by 2 cherished great grandchildren and many dear friends at Prospect House. MCDONOUGH, Emelda O. “Mel” (LeBlanc)-Of Everett, passed away on July 21, 2014, at Middlewoods Assisted Living in Newington, CT. She was 96. Born in Digby County, Nova Scotia, she was the beloved wife of the late Arthur McDonough. She is also predeceased by her sister Bertha Veitch and dear friend Joe Murphy. Loving aunt of Joan and her husband David Glendinning of Milton, FL, and Irene and he husband George Roushon of Wethersfield, CT. She is also survived by her niece and nephews; Aurora and John Maya, Christopher and Shani Hinton-Miller, Darius and Amanda Miller Gibson, Bibianna Miller, Kathy and Ralph Gonzalez, Peter and Alicia Roushon, and great nieces and nephews; Tony Maya and his wife Merianna, Monica Maya Genik and her husband Michael, Arianna, Nate, and Nick Gonzalez, Penelope and Peter Roushon, Addie and Rena Hinton Miller, Calais and Sonja Gibson Miller. Mel also leaves her many friends at Middlewoods. Prior to her retirement, Mel was a longtime employee of the function company, Margaret Howell, Inc. CONSALVO, Alice M. (Doyle) 100, passed away on July 20 at the Epoch House in Melrose. Alice was born in Charlestown on August 18, 1913 one of two children of the late Thomas and Alice (Elger) Doyle. Alice grew up in Everett and graduated from Everett High School Class of 1932. Alice attended the Burroughs Calculating School of Boston. Alice worked at the First National Stores Warehouse in Somerville as a press operator in the laundry department for over 25 years. Alice worked in all the Everett schools in the cafeteria department. Alice's hobbies were collecting dolls, teddy bears, and angels. Alice loved dancing and bingo. Alice was the past President of the VFW Aux #834 and the American Legion Aux #176. She was a member the Friendship Club, AARP #1124 and the Italian Social Club. Alice lived in Everett most of her life and later moved to Melrose. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony. She was the sister of the late Colonel Lewis W. Doyle. Alice was the aunt of Nancy and her husband Bob DeFosse of Winthrop, Paul and his wife Sandy Consalvo of NH, and Dotty and her husband Bob Capps of VA. Alice is also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jessica grew up in Everett. She is survived by her daughter Gabriella and her parents Maria and Manuel. She was the sister of Brian Cova and his wife Mary of Saugus and her nephew Brian Cova Jr. Jessica was the grandchild of Margarida Dacova and the late Manuel Dacova. Jim was born on February 24, 1963 in Everett one of eight children of Madeline (Fitzgerald) and the late John Redmond. Jim grew up in Everett and graduated from Everett High School Class of 1982. Jim was a member of the Laborer's Union Local #22. Jim was also a member of the Schiavo Club, the Irish American Club, the East Side, the VFW, and the Red Man Club. He was the son of Madeline (Fitzgerald) Redmond and the late John Redmond. Jim was the brother of John and his wife Pat of Medford, Patrice and her husband Stephen Chiavelli of Wakefield, Joyce and her husband Bruce Crary of Newburyport, Mary of Stoneham, Paul and his wife Patricia of Wakefield, Beth and her husband Timothy McDonough of Westwood and the late Barry.
