Born in Everett, Dan lived in Everett for most of his life. He was a Computer-Telephone engineer by profession. Husband of Ninfa Madrid. Dear and devoted father of Thomas and Emily Hanlon of Everett. Beloved son of City Councilor and former Mayor of the City of Everett, John F. Hanlon and Frances (Canderozzi). Loving brother of John F. Hanlon, Jr. and his wife, Lynn of Hudson, NH, William P. Hanlon and his companion, Michelle Barns, of Revere, Cynthia Randall and her husband, Paul of Everett and Tracy Shea and her husband, Christopher of North Andover. Also surviving by many loving nieces and nephews. GABRIEL, Frederick James “Gabe”-In Brockton and formerly a long time Everett resident, passed away on November 15,2014, at 86 years. Beloved son of the late Fred R. Gabriel and the late Mary A. (Hazleton) Gabriel. Loving brother of BeatriceA. Flammia of Wakefield and the late Grace E. Strong. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. PESCE, Stephen J. Jr. 26, of Everett died on November 11. Stephen was born on September 27, 1988 in Winchester, raised and educated in Everett. Stephen graduated from Everett High School Class of 2007. He was also a graduate of the National Personal Training Institute of Massachusetts; Stephen worked as a personal trainer in gyms on the North Shore. Besides his job as a personal trainer, Stephen loved to dance, to travel, and to box. Stephen will especially beremembered for his infectious smile and the way he could light up a room. Stephen had a generous soul, a warm personality and the ability to make you laugh when you needed it the most. Stephen was the loving son of Lori Tammaro of Everett and Stephen J. Pesce Sr. of Malden and the cherished brother of Cherise Pesce of Chelsea, Sheena Pesce of Everett, and Chanel Marichal and her husband Michel of Everett. Stephen is also survived by his grandmother Harriet Tammaro of Everett, his nieces Adiella and Jayliella Marichal and his K9 companion, Rex. BERLANDI, Anna (Santangelo) Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, November 20th, 2014 from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107), REVERE, for ANNA (Santangelo) BERLANDI, who died peacefully at Merrimack County Nursing Center in Boscawen, New Hampshire on Monday, November 17th at the age of 94 years young. Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, November 21st at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 487 BROADWAY (directly across from EVERETT CITY HALL), EVERETT, at 10 AM. Born in Boston’s North End on October 18, 1920, she was the eleventh child to parents, Francesco & Adrianna (Interante) Santangelo. She married the love of her life, George C. Berlandi. She was but 18 years, & together they raised six children. A deeply religious woman, she lived her faith, in total, i.e., she gave extraordinary careto her entire family, extended family & many, many friends. Her supreme joy was given to all who met herthrough her baking goods. Her special ingredient of love in her baking & in her life has left us all with an incredible legacy that will long be not forgotten. Her loving husband, George, died in December of 1980. She is the cherished mother of: Adrienne L. Sutera & her husband Vincent of Lynnfield, George C. Berlandi, Jr. & his wife Barbara of Concord, NH, Robert J.A. Berlandi & his wife Theresa of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Donna A. Berlandi-Cody of Rowley, & the late: Marie Gorgone & Diane F. Accardi. She is also lovingly survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, & 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is the dear sister to the late: Lucy Alba, Marian Aiello, Domenica “Mamie” Ciulla, Mary Comeau, Catherine Bruno, Michael & Frank Santangelo. Many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews also survive her. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
