AGNETA, Frederick L.-A longtime Everett resident, passed away on September 22nd, 2014, at 83 years. Beloved husband to Jean E. (Mayo) Agneta for 63 years. Loving father of David Agneta and his wife Mary of Westford, Dianne Pechilis and her husband William of Mansfield, and Jacqueline Pounds and her husband Douglas of Goffstown, NH. Loving brother of Mary Colella of Nashua, NH. He is also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren and 1 cherished great granddaughter. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, Sept 26th, at 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 11AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Mr. Agneta was a US Army combat veteran who served in the Korean War and received the Bronze Star for valor. Prior to his retirement, Fred was a longtime Chief Court Officer for Malden District Court. DESANTIS, Ann M. (Perrelli) Of Everett, on September 14th. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin P. DeSantis. Loving mother of Carol Ann Guliano and her husband Eddie of Saugus, Benjamin R. DeSantis of Everett, Paul J. DeSantis and his wife Kathy of Saugus, and the late Robert F. DeSantis. She is survived by her eight beloved grandchildren, Gina Anderson and her husband Keith, the late Nicholas B. Guliano, Dina, Paul, Ashley and Justin, Alaina and Benjamin DeSantis. She is also survived by three loving great-grandchildren, Isla, Gavin, and Samara. Loving sister of Lena Vinal and Carmella Belleville and the late Louis, Armando, and Nello. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral services from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Friday, September 19th. GURLEY, Luther Dean-Of Everett, passed away at Mass General Hospital on September 15, 2014, at 71 years. Born in Sherwood, TN, he was the loving son of the late James Luther and Lucille (Gibson) Gurley. Beloved husband of Dorothy Ann (DeFeo) Gurley. Loving father of Rhonda Jean Gurley and “Luther” Dean Gurley II. Loving brother of the late Joyce Ann Baker, John Wayne, Jack, and Ray Gurley. Cherished uncle of John Archibald, Jr and his wife Desiree Zicko, Maria Burke and her husband Patrick. Cherished great uncle of Meaghan Lorraine, Colin Patrick, Tucker Scott, and Luke John. SILVA, Richard M. of Salem, NH, formerly of Cambridge, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH, after a brief illness. He was 75 years of age. Born in Somerville, Dick lived in Cambridge for most of his life before settling in Hampstead, New Hampshire some years ago. He and his wife Carol recently moved to Salem, New Hampshire. A funeral director for most of his life, Dick owned and operated the Silva-Waitkus Funeral Home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After his retirement, Dick worked for many funeral homes in the Boston area as a funeral assistant until his untimely death. Devoted son of the late Manuel Silva and Anatilde (Pereira) Silva. Beloved husband of Carol A. (Ventura) for over 55 years. Dear and devoted father of Deborah M. Savoia and her husband, Lawrence of N. Andover, Thomas J. Silva of Windham, NH and the late Richard M. Silva, Jr. and his surviving wife, Jill of FL. Brother of Donald Silva and his wife, Tina of Medford and Dennis Silva and his wife, Elaine of Wakefield. Loving “Papa” of Cory, Keith, Mark and Brett Silva, Erik and Brittany Savoia, Christopher, Briana and Alexis Silva and Great“Papa” of Ava Rose Silva. RAFFERTY, William M. 70 a long time resident of Malden passed away suddenly at the Mass General Hospital on August 28. William was born in Cambridge one of three children of the late William and Edith (Silva) Rafferty. William grew up in Cambridge and attended the Cambridge Schools. He worked as a Cambridge cab driver for many years. Bill leaves his wife Marilyn (Clark) and his children Lauren Stevens of RI, Tracey Salvato of CA, Eric of Milford and Stacey Mone. William was the brother of Judy LeFebvre of Medway and the late Michael of Cambridge. William is also survived by his step-children James Crook of Marlborough, Danielle Reilly of Lowell and Warren Smith of Tynsborough. A Funeral service will be held on Friday September at 9am from the Murphy O'Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church at 10am. D’AMICO, Andrew R. “Bobby” Jr. of N. Andover, formerly of Revere, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 28, 2014 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center-West Campus, after a brief illness. He was 62 years of age. Born in Chelsea, Bobby lived in Revere for many years before settling in North Andover. He worked for many years at his family's service station in Lynnfield. Bobby was now working for Superior Automobile Parts as an automotive parts salesman. Bobby was a devoted family man, who found it difficult to say no. He had many interests and enjoyed playing cards. Beloved husband of Geri (Torcivia) for over 45 years. Devoted son of Andrew R. D’Amico and the late Dorothy (DeNisco). Dear and devoted father of Laurie Farinella and her husband, Joseph of Beverly and Rob A. D’Amico and his wife, Amy of Ayer. Brother of Lauragale D’Amico and Thomas DiSisto of Revere, Rosemary DiBartolomeo and her husband, Darren of Lynnfield and Dorothy Donna Petrella and her husband, Peter of W. Peabody. Loving “Papa” of LJ Farinella, Ava and Ellie D’Amico. Brother-in-law of Angelo and Ann Nicolai and the late Andrew Torcivia and his surviving wife Maria Torcivia. Sister of Tomaso Marchione and Sarafina DiMassa both of Italy, pre-deceased by 7 other siblings. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Lucia and her husband Alesandro, Teresa, Leonard, Laura and her husband Solomon, Richard, Angela and 2 great-grandchildren, Matteo and Marco.
